Summary
The first in a new mystery series from the legendary author of The Man from C.A.M.P. and Longhorns, Victor J. Banis.
Straight cop, gay cop, and a woman who "isn't real". Tom and Stanley are on the trail of a drag queen serial killer, and along the way, they find themselves engaged in a more intimate pursuit, trying to resolve another mystery: their unexpected attraction to one another.

The Narrator killed this story!
Is there anything you would change about this book?
No
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
The murder/mystery aspect of the story was good-the twist at the end was a surprises.I just wanted to shake Tom for being so stubborn about his growing attraction to Stanley. I think he should have accepted that he might be bisexual by the end of the book.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The choice/voice of narrator was TOTALLY inappropriate for this story. The main part of the story involved several interactions with Transgender and Tran-sexual individuals in Drag clubs. Stanley is depicted a being a camp, out and proud guy man-Mr Wells sounds like a hard smoking cowboy!
Do you think Deadly Nightshade needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
Yes, the end was clearly written to facilitate another story. Stanley and Tom have unresolved issues .

Interesting Story
Enjoyable story that is well written with likeable characters. Narration is not to my taste.
