Summary
'Are you happy in your life?'

gripping, fast paced, extremely enjoyable
This was the first book I have listened to by Blake Crouch. I am very impressed. It had me hooked from the start, and kept me looking forward to the next installment.
Jon Lindstrom is an excellent narrator - so good that I have actively sought out other books based on him narrating.
The characters in the book really come alive and you can feel a connection with them.
The story line was superb and threw a quantity of 'curve balls', keeping you on your toes.
I found it a little too intense to listen to before bed as it really keeps the adrenaline flowing!
Now enjoying one of Blake's other books 'Pines'.

mostly good
i did enjoy this book. it begins well, and the last quarter is very good. There's a chunk in the middle that's mediochre sci-fi, but it sort of has to be there. Switch off, enjoy the story.

You sort of guess where this is going
Well read and moves along at a good pace. For me the story was a little predictable and lacked that edge but was strong enough to be an enjoyable experience.

Dark Matter
I bought this book on a whim, not having read anything by this author before or by the narrator. I have not been disappointed. The story line is fast and exciting and the science behind it fascinating. Mr Crouch has written an excellent book which has been brought to life by Jon Lindstroms very emotive narration. Together they have produced an exceptional audio book, one that I will listen to again. If you are looking for something a little different you could not find a better book.

Unexpected ending
So the actual story is good but not too far off from other books/tv shows/movies. However, there are quite a few twists and turns and the ending was unexpected for me.
Narration decent, not annoying and not monotone.
First Blake Crouch book and will be getting more!
