Summary

DI Kate Burrows thought she'd never face a killer like the Grantley Ripper again. But she was wrong. One by one, children are being abandoned. Thankfully, they're rescued from harm. Then one victim is not so lucky, and Kate knows she's in a race against time to save lives. Kate's finding the case tough and she needs the support of her lover, Patrick Kelly, more than ever. But Patrick's got his own problems.

A dead body's turned up in his Soho club and, although he insists he's been set-up, Kate begins to doubt him. It's not the first time Patrick's reputation has compromised her position. But now there's a maniac to catch and Kate can't let anyone - not even Patrick - get in her way.

The usual Story !

I enjoyed it it’s aFive Star for all three Aspects ,
However it’s full of The usual Daily Mail
View on Single Mother’s with no Conscience
All prepared to sell there children for Class A
Drugs. After locking them in their Rooms
All night so they can Sell themselves
At the Local lap dancing Club.
Annie Aldington Always plays all the Characters
She does it so well. Having the Name
Kray nowadays brings one as Far away
From the Humble roots of Post war East
End of London and a Tainted View that
Everyone is Depraved and Has a Price living
In Squalor or if your Ruthless or a Bent Cop
You can Zoom up the Property Ladder
With no concern and get the hell out
Into Suburbia as long as the Snakes
Don’t get you o the Way up there .
Thatcher Tinted Spectacles..
Then there’s the Criminal V Bent Cop
Who have this Bizarre
Mutual Admiration Symbiotic thing going on,
Yes there’s Masons, there’s Racism and Greed

Not bad

Not bad but would have been much better if not for the picking apart and rehashing of the Kate and Patrick relationship. Very repetitive.

The rest of the book was enjoyable.
