Mia's testimony against Russian mobsters forced her to enter the witness protection program. She is relocated to a quaint cottage in Wolf Woods, near Mt. Rainier, far from everyone and everything she loved and cared for. All is calm, until she meets Dominic, the gorgeous ruggedly handsome owner of the mysterious Wolfe Estate. He is all alpha male, domineering, and controlling. The last thing she needs is to get involved with a sexy control freak.
Alpha werewolf Dominic Wolfe is the packs' enforcer. When an attractive young woman moves into a cottage near his territory; his senses are heightened to obsessive proportions. A human pet to meet his desires.
Dominic is determined to unveil Mia's real identity while keeping his own securely hidden. Haunted by the howls and shrieks coming from Dominic's estate, Mia wonders if she can really trust the enigmatic man she suspects of wanting a dominant-submissive relationship. A man who brings out her darker desires. Will hidden danger keep them from gratifying their burning passion?

I loved the surprises and the humour within. Not the usual shifter story but a unique idea with genuine laugh out loud moments . Not to mention a steamy story with a hot Alpha paired up with a challenging heroine. It's the first in this series and I'm sure it will appeal to many lovers of paranormal romance
It has to be the confusion between the couple as Mia struggled with coming to terms with Dominic's dominant side!
This is my first by this narrator but I found it incredibly easy to listen to with the perfect pace and great intonation
Ideally yes but life gets in the way!
This is a great book; this is the first book in The Alpha Wolf’s Pet series written by Eva Gordon and narrated by Meghan Kelly. Mia had to enter witness protection program after her testimony against Russian mobsters. She was relocated to a quaint cottage in Wolf Woods, near Mt. Rainier. There she meets Dominic, the handsome owner of the mysterious Wolfe Estate. Dominic Wolfe, is an alpha werewolf and is the packs enforcer. When he meets Mia he starts thinking that they may be meant to be together.
The narrator Meghan Kelly, did a wonderful job, and was very easy to listen too. I have enjoyed very book that I have enjoyed every book that I have listened to by this narrator. She did a great job with the different characters and their voices.
This book has a great story; if you are looking for a great paranormal romance, then you need to get this book. I am looking forward to the next book in this series. Once I started listening to this book, I didn’t want to stop until the end.
A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
"Thoroughly impressed so far!"
Not too long, not too short... but the author was able to write a story that was descriptive and built a wonderful world of wolves in your mind. I really liked the different directions the story took so you didn't know where it would eventually wind up.
Meghan Kelly did a superb job of narrating the story and giving the characters depth. Narrators can make or break an audio book.
Mia, she's so spunky and relatable.
Mia with the axe. Go on with your bad self!!
Let me make you mine....Pet.
I was given this in exchange for my fair and honest review.
"sexy alpha wolves"
this book was hot and the narration really dragged me in! I recommend this audio book to all! This was an arc review. I got it for free and loved it.
I was given the audiobook from the author to listen and leave an honest review. I also purchased the ebook version because it's a story I want to hear more of. Mia is part of the witness protection program because she testified against a Russian mobster who killed her father and the mobster wants her killed now. One of her neighbors is billionaire Dominic Wolfe who has a dark secret. He falls for her and she for him and the story goes from there. This book is a good beginning to the series as it gives you a very clear picture of the characters and what story is to come. The story is very likeable with an original take on werewolves and romance. There is good action throughout and a very good reading done by Meghan Kelly. I am looking forward to reading or listening to the next chapter in this series. I think it was very well done.
"A Dominating Story"
Alpha Wolf's Pet, Hidden is a hot story, with a dominating Alpha and a sweet but spunky little pet.
The characters remind me of the characters in Called By the Bear by Violet Vaughn. A very dominating Alpha and a spunky female counterpart. Different Wereanimals, but similar characteristics
Meghan Kelly's voice was very smooth and for a woman did a decent representation of the males' voices.
There were times the Dominic was a bit over the top Alpha, but most the time Mia stood up for him. The Werewolf culture in this story is much different then other stories I have read.
"Good story, but not wild about the narrator."
I enjoyed this book, but had some issues with the narrator. I had to slow the book down because she was too fast. There were also a few mispronounced words. I wasn't wild about the change in sound that would indicate the characters thoughts; it sounded like muffled talking, but I get why they did it. However, none of my gripes kept me from enjoying the story.
I love a strong alpha, especially when his love interest is feisty and makes him work for her. Looking forward to the next book to see where the relationship goes. Hopefully the new narrator is a better fit.
Enjoyed this story. Wasn't sure I would since this is the first time I've read this author. The story begins with Mia against the mob. We also meet Alpha Dominic. He sees her first and his wolf is on the ready. This story didn't drag but it also didn't just rush everything. I'm not a huge fan of series like this but I am ready to see how this plays out. I would recommend this series to my fellow book readers. The narrator did an awesome job separating the voices and the inflections were good. I'm ready for part two.
I loved it and yes I would listen to it again and again
Mia, she seems like a scared rabbit until she gets more involved with Dominique
I had no favorite cause I loved it all
I received this audio for a honest review. Not only did Eva Gordon do a wonderful job writing the book but she did a wonderful job finding a great narrator. Meghan Kelly did a wonderful job narrating the book.
Margaret Isabelle Abbott who was now Mia due to the witness protection program found her self living in a cabin in the woods. She was having to hid from the mob. The mob had killed her father and since she testified against them her life was now in danger.
Mia could not of know the adventure that her new location would take her. She loved to play the cello but would not be able to play professional due to her being on the run. She did have a handsome billionaire neighbor by the name of Dominic Wolf. God how she found him handsome.
Danger is so close. Dominic must keep Mia from finding out the truth before she signs the contract. One thing for sure is that he will make her his human pet. He is alpha and gets what he wants.
