Summary

Lindsay Boxer is pregnant at last! But her work doesn't slow for a second. When millionaire Chaz Smith is mercilessly gunned down, she discovers that the murder weapon is linked to the deaths of four of San Francisco's most untouchable criminals. And it was taken from her own department's evidence locker. Anyone could be the killer - even her closest friends.

Lindsay is called next to the most bizarre crime scene she's ever witnessed: two bodiless heads elaborately displayed in the garden of a world-famous actor. Another head is unearthed in the garden, and Lindsay realises that the ground could hide hundreds of victims. A reporter launches a series of malicious articles about the cases and Lindsay's personal life is laid bare. But this time she has no one to turn to - especially not Joe.

the best read

I have either read or listened to everything that James Patterson has written. I must say that "11th hour" is up there with the very very best, Patterson and Paetro have pulled out a high class thriller which was quite frankly superbly read by January Lavoy. I hope January reads all the forthcoming womans murder club books.

an easy listen

As an avid James Patterson fan I was looking forward to hearing one of his books. The length is disappointing as quite short at just over 6 hours but nevertheless an enjoyable story.

James Patterson at his best

The story starts very well and got me gripped almost immediately and I couldn't stop listening to it. The person reading helped give the characters more believe ability by changing her voice for each one. Talking deeper for men for instance. Her English accent, however, did make me smile as it wasn't quite right . The plot was very good and I had no idea who did it until it was actually revealed.

Another new female reader. Very automatic and sounds robotic! Do not like this readers voiceover

Accents

The English accent is not great, no one in the U.K. actually sounds like dick can dyke from Mary poppins!!

Nice but not special

Enough to keep me going to the end but not special.

not sure why it needed 119 chapters and struggled with the narrator's voice when doing male parts.
