Very few modern comedians have reached the kind of overwhelming mainstream success that Dane Cook has enjoyed, and this collection of his best-known routines - along with some never-before-released cuts - from his first four albums is a great primer for casual fans and diehards alike. The material included on I Did My Best: Greatest Hits makes Cook's success undeniable, as he brings an unbridled energy that is infectious to his audience. His personality is so big that listeners can even sense the unique physicality that Cook brings to his shows. Who needs visuals with a performer this dynamic?
Arguably the biggest comic on the planet, Dane Cook has put together a collection of his best and most popular material, spanning his five full-length albums which have collectively sold over 4 million copies in the U.S. and Canada alone. In addition to favorites like "No So Kool-Aid", "B & E", and "The Atheist", the album features 10 minutes of previously unreleased material, all re-mastered and newly cut together - a must have for both longtime fans and those who want an introduction to Cook at his best.

Dane Cook is one of my favorite comedians and I can listen to his material over and over which makes this a good purchase for me. If you are not familiar with his material you would be better off buying one of his albums instead so that you enjoy them in full. My only complaint with this album is the sound of the audience (a big American crowd) who scream and holler constantly throughout.
