What you will find is plenty of nonsense, lots of lies, and just enough truth to make you double check the "facts" with a reliable source.
Following the huge success of the New Scientist books Does Anything Eat Wasps? and Why Don't Penguins' Feet Freeze?, this is an alternative take on human curiosity. With detailed answers to ridiculous questions, if you've learnt absolutely nothing useful by the time you've finished this book, at least you'll be laughing.

"Word "Sh-t" in Title is a Descriptor"
The answer to the title question, "Does Anything Eat Sh-t," is, apparently, "Yes." I really feel I bit on a big turd by buying this very un-funny book. Well, I may have bit on this turd--but I refuse to chew it--much less, to swallow it. Going to see if I can get my credit refunded by Audible. Would have given this zero stars, had that been an option!
Bought this book in search of a fun time, learning silly bits of trivia. There's something fun about peepee/caca humor, and trivia on same is a guilty pleasure.
This book, however, contains no fun facts of the sort for which we pick up such books. It's just a bunch of ridiculous made-up, fake "facts". I suppose it was supposed to be fun to read stuff which is so obviously, outrageously non-factual--in the format of a typical book of trivia. It was anything but funny, and even less funny that I spent my hard-earned money on something which any third-grader could have written.
I downloaded this a long while back figuring it was a science trivia kind of thing. Upon finally getting around to it, that it is nothing but fake nonsense not based in fact. It is ridiculousness and absurdity designed to supposedly be funny though it grossly misses the mark. Then after each short nonsense blurb, or I suppose chapter or essay, it has theme music where they sing the title. After three such blurbs I could bear it no longer and deleted the book from my active downloads.
If you're looking for humor, find it else where, and if you're looking for science, this is REALLY NOT FOR YOU!
The only thing I can say about this is the woman's voice who is reading this isn't really annoying. Seriously, this is not for any demographic I can think of.
I bet I got this on sale as opposed to with a credit so at least I didn't spend lots of money on it.
