    Great stories but droning voice!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Super stories but very wearing voice.

What did you like best about this story?

All good - a few odd ones.

Who might you have cast as narrator instead of Cathy Dobson?

Samantha Bond, Dawn French, any actor or actress with a less droning voice.

Could you see The World's Best Classic Short Stories being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?

Too many - would take years.

    Any additional comments?

    Good value for money

    Irritating pronunciation.

If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

Very strange the ways words are pronounced here, there is no accent like it in England. Why is the narrator adding syllables to words and lengthening them unnecessarily? I found it very offputting.

    Great Collection of Unexpected/Horror

A great collection of classic tales with a twist or horror theme to them. (Although I'm sure you worked that out from EA Poe.) Well read, and a pleasure to listen to.
