Scottish writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle may be best known for his Sherlock Holmes stories, but his real passion was supernatural tales. Walter Covell interprets these eerie and spellbinding narratives with aplomb; his elegant voice creates a refined atmosphere for peculiar events to unfold and take hold of the imagination. This collection includes: "The Great Keinplatz Experiment", "The Captain of the Pole Star", "The Brown Hand", "The Leather Funnel", "J. Habakuk Jephson's Statement", "John Barrington Cowles", and "The American's Tale".
This selection includes seven of the best: "The Great Keinplatz Experiment", "The Captain of the Pole Star", "The Brown Hand", "The Leather Funnel", "J. Habakuk Jepson's Statment", "John Barrington Cowels", and "The American's Tale".

I was very disappointed with the narrator
I found the stories spoiled by the boring
"Good Stories with Poor Narration"
I'm going to be honest and say that the narrator was one of the worst I've heard. I was looking forward to hearing one of my favourite stories, The Captain of the Polestar, only to hear it butchered by Walter Covell. Overall, the stories are good - buyer beware in regards to the narrator!
