Although there are the usual fantastic creatures, stray body parts, and strange objects, some of these stories also feature older characters grappling with difficult themes, including autism, bed-wetting, and mental illness. Performer Stig Wemyss is an energetic narrator adept at adopting the plaintive voices of kids and the grumpy or harried tones of their parents. A great listen for older children who enjoy the oddball and offbeat.
