From the author of The Parent Agency comes a thrilling, funny and touching new adventure.
Fred and Ellie are twins. But not identical (because that's impossible for a boy and a girl). They do like all the same things, though. Especially video games. Which they are very good at. They aren't that good, however, at much else - like, for example, football, or dealing with the school bullies. Then they meet the Mystery Man, who sends them a video game controller which doesn't look like any other controller they've ever seen. And it doesn't control any of their usual games.
When the twins find out what it does control, though, it seems like the answer to all their problems. And the key to all their wildest dreams. At least it seems like that....

Reviews for The Parent Agency: "Funny, sometimes moving, always engaging." (Guardian)
"I love this book because it really made me laugh! The best book I've read since I was born!" (Tom, 11, LoveReading4Kids)
"Exciting and funny - I didn't want to put it down!" (Daisy, 10, LoveReading4Kids)
Boys of a certain age can be reluctant readers of fiction and this audio version, delivered in David Baddiel's best blokey banter, is just the right thing to remind them that there are novels out there that can entertain and 'speak' to them.
This was no disappointment to us following on from Baddiel's The Parent Agency, which was also a great hit with our family. If your family enjoy David Walliams or The Wimpy Kid series, this one is also for you.
The references to current football discourse were a real hit with my Arsenal fan of a son.
This audio book Is so awsome sick wicked the different sound effects makes it cool it never gets boring😝😜😲😳😵😶😛💩
This book wasn't able to hold my sons or my attention. But was still great, just not as great as other reads. Will try another from this author.
Runner and mother of two from Hove, UK. Relies on good audiobooks to stop the kids from fighting in the car. Occasionally buys one for her.
Whilst I saw the ending to this story a mile away (it's still very sweet though) my two boys were cheerfully swept along. They loved the idea of a person controller and laughed loudly through most of the book.
It's a good length; not too long so you can crack on through it. I could listen to David Baddiel forever too.
We put this on in the car for our 8 & 10 y/o daughters on the journey between Salisbury & Llandudno. Not only was it well written & read along as funny but it was also the exact length of our journey! Thank you Mr Baddiel!
