A brilliantly funny, gripping novel from a born storyteller, The Parent Agency is an epic wish-fulfilment adventure for every child - and for the child in everyone.Barry said, a third time, "I wish I had better parents!" And then suddenly the entire room started to shake. Barry Bennett hates being called Barry. In fact it's number 2 on the list of things he blames his parents for, along with 1) 'being boring' and 3) 'always being tired'.But there is a world, not far from this one, where parents don't have children. That's far too random for something so big and important. In this world, children are allowed to choose their parents. For Barry Bennett, this world seems like a dream come true. Only things turn out to be not quite that simple.

My son is ill and off school, after about 40 mins of "I'm so bored" I put this book on and gave him his headphones. He didn't stir for the whole 3 hours, and really loved it. I really loved the peace and quiet. Win-win.
This book was probably the best thing ever! I love the story and could listen to it again and again,I recommend it to young ages(5+)to older ages(14)
In short you should get it!!!!!!!!
I liked it but for some reason I found the end sad. I think it is funny when they say the names of the children and then they say Dave.
So this book is full of mystery and funniness and awesomeness and a great book for any mystery funny loving people 👶🏻👦🏻👧🏻👨🏽👩🏼👱🏿👴🏾👵🏻👲🏼👳🏽👮🏾👷🏻💂🏽🕵🏻🎅🏿👼🏼👸🏽👰🏻
