Brilliant narration and characterisation. really enjoyable. loved every minute of all the stories. recommended.

Traditional stories shortened but not altered
Beautifully read but beware of original endings if allowing young children to listen. No Disney romance here

Proper fairytales read by proper actors... Derek Jacobi reading the the Emperor's New Clothes? What a treat! I only wish they'd included some more!

Had a nice time being a kid again.
Very well performed classic moral fairy tales for children.
Pride comes before a fall and vanity is not a great quality.
Be carefull what you wish for.
Live in the moment and appreciate what you have.
Nice hardworking people defeat evil to win the day and find happiness.

Any additional comments?
I love these stories and thought I could download them to a cd to play in the car when I have my grandchildren. But I can't, also seem unable to return them. The whole process has been frustrating, annoying and I will not be using audible books again.

Disappointing...
Keep on getting a 'Playback failed. Please try again" error message. So could not listen to these stories which is a real shame. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling Audible, but problem persisted. Sent a report through, do let's see...
