The Christmasaurus is a story about a boy named William Trundle and a dinosaur, the Christmasaurus. It's about how they meet one Christmas Eve and have a magical adventure.
It's about friendship and families, sleigh bells and Santa, singing elves and flying reindeer, music and magic. It's about discovering your heart's true desire and learning that the impossible might just be possible....

Bought this for my five year old granddaughter to listen to while we were on holiday, when driving.
We were both entranced by this story and eager to hear what would happen next.
Absolutely loved it!!
Already started listening though a second time ...
I think this one will be re listened to my children were the wrong way around for this. My 7yr old daughter loved the Christmas stuff but not a fan of dinosaurs and my 5yr old son loved the dinosaur bits but not old enough to follow the in between bits yet. Meanwhile mummy loved it, the story had a real Roald Dahl feel to the writing and the narrator was brilliant. I would have been tongue twisted if I had been reading the book version and the songs were great. There were some great side topics covered in the story including disability and bullying and it was refreshing to have different family structures to the typically portrayed mum dad and two kids set up. Definately one I'd recommend to 7yrs and over particularly if they love dinosaurs.
I was listening to this at almost the same time my daughter was reading it to my youngest grandson! I think that both he and I enjoyed it almost as much! I'm sure I would have loved listening to my daughter read it - but Paul Shelley did an excellent job instead! Don't hesitate!
Brilliant magical story that will bring a smile to both kids and adults. Very British and full of funny fantastic words. A joy to read!
