Upbeat, Fast, Cheery
No less than the greats of Tolstoy, Austen... Oh alright maybe not. It's a kids book.
The narrators manage to make each characters voice distinctive across the range of different ages, and still clear enough for everyone to follow. From President Wenslydale to Scratchy to Rastamouse himself.
Dwayne trying to say the word commonmentary. cominentary... sorry commentary.
Be prepared for a bit of jigging if the little ones are listening to it about as Rastamouse is nothing without music. And there are bits of steel pan and reggae interpersed between the scenes. Bandulu's cheese pie song stands out. Your ikkle ones are going to love this.
Casual reader with eclectic tastes (or I'm just all over the place and don't know what I want!) Re-visiting the self-improvement genre atm..
An enjoyable little audiobook which put a smile on my face :-)
Some of the accents sounded a little odd to me, but I'm no expert so maybe that's just me..
Overall, a fun and lighthearted 'risten'. Great for kids :-)

"Cute children's story"
Strong cultural dialects were at times difficult but overall the story and narrators were very good. Really more about adults helping children, being honest and finding ways through difficulty than children being active participants but it teaches little ones to follow good examples.
The accent made it hard for my 3rd grader to keep up. He gave up after awhile.
"Why It's This 'The Best Book"

"FUN Book for my toddler!"
My Toddler LOVES this book, so for him... it will rank #1
They bring the story to life. I love the music - just like the show. It's so much fun.
Bring more RastaMouse Books please!!
"Wonderful for the whole family!"
An interesting story plot that helps kids think ahead and problem solve when the crew encounters some hiccups along the way. It was also very nice to hear different accents and vocabulary.
