Publisher's Summary

"All children, except one, grow up."

When Peter Pan appears in Wendy, John, and Michael's nursery one night looking for his lost shadow, he tells them of a magical place: Neverland - a land of fairies, mermaids, and pirates, where nobody ever grows up. Wendy has always wanted to see a mermaid, so this gives Peter a marvelous idea. Wendy can come back to Neverland to help take care of him and the lost boys. Just a few happy thoughts, a sprinkling of fairy dust, and away they go - across the night sky and into an adventure they'll never forget.

Journey to Neverland in this enchanting new release, gorgeously captured through illustrator Anna Earley's whimsical designs. From Peter's epic battle with the villainous Captain Hook to the glistening water of the Mermaids' Lagoon, it's Peter Pan as you've never experienced it before.

"The boy who never grows up!"

A violent exploration of the clash between childhood and adulthood. Having read the original before I knew what to expect but I found this version made Mr Darling particularly annoying which dampened my experience. I believe this to be a personal inclination which made it slight arduous to continue listening through certain parts.
