Summary

Brought to you by Puffin.

Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong are spending the Christmas hols in snowy Cambridge. Hazel has high hopes of its beautiful spires, cosy libraries and inviting tea-rooms - but there is danger lurking in the dark stairwells of ancient Maudlin College.

Two days before Christmas, there is a terrible accident. At least, it appears to be an accident - until the Detective Society look a little closer, and realise a murder has taken place. Faced with several irritating grown-ups and fierce competition from a rival agency, they must use all their cunning and courage to find the killer (in time for Christmas Day, of course).

The fabulously festive fifth mystery from the bestselling, award-winning author of Murder Most Unladylike.

IF U ARE A PARENT READ THIS !!

Hi. MAKE SURE YOUR CHILDREN doesn’t SEE THIS !! (hahahah). This book and it’s whole series is perfect for 10-13/14 . Would NOT recommend for people younger then 8/7 because of (spoiler) dead body’s and romantic love stuff ( not necessarily in this book but through out the series ). If you are worried or curious about what this book is about here is a preview:
(Disclaimer : if u are not a interested parent or some one who like spoilers , pls kindly STOP READING !!)
Set in : 1934-35
Two girls ( hazel and Daisy) got to visit daisy’s brother. One of the brother’s friends died and the girls solve the case!!

DONT WORRY : there is NO rude language (e.g swearing 🤬) there is a tiny TINY little bit of love (SPOILERS !! WARNING ) e.g hazel likes a boy ( I told u it was a BIG spoiler 😒). There are dead body’s (of course ).

I totally enjoyed this amazing book mainly because I am 12 years old (yes I am 12) it is the perfect book !

AMAZINGLY ADVENTUROUS!

My daughter really likes this series. She even wants to write a novel like that too! Daisy and Hazel really inspire her and she wants to be a spy when she's older! 🕵🏻‍♀️
