Summary

This story begins as a boy named Hugo, 9 years of age looks forward to a well deserved weekend with his friends, after what seemed to be a long weekday of school. When the weekend had arrived it's a wash out. While Hugo's parents Hazel and Clifford are out running errands, Hugo is given tasks that he must accomplish during this dreaded rainy day. Read further to see if Hugo's tasks are successful or turn out to be a flop. Will he fail to disappointment with his parents or will he learn the meaning of responsibility?
