Summary

Bathsheba Clarice de Trop thinks she's a star. Well, his mum is a world-famous novelist whose books are all about the amazing adventures of her fabulous daughter, and of course the stories must be true.

But when Bathsheba is confronted by her-down-and-out father, and discovers her role in the fantastic new Bathsheba film will be played by hot US actress Avocado Dieppe, she has to face reality. She might not be as famous as she liked to think, but maybe she can still be a star in her own right.

Critic reviews

"The stuck up daughter of a best selling novelist finds that sometimes real life can actually work out better than a fantasy life that doesn't quite come up to scratch." (Good Book Giude)

Entertaining

My 6 year old daughter really loves this and has listened to it so many times she now knows it almost by heart. Quite a realistic story about a lonely imaginative girl whose mother has plenty of money but no time for her - sadly realistic of todays society! The voices used for different characters are nice. My daughter wishes the rest of the books in this series were available in audio books.
