Really think this should be in the childrens section, I think my grand-daughter will love the story in a few years time. I enjoyed it too and it is well read.
"didn't realize this version was abridged..."
I love this novel and have read it many times. It has a whimsical and innocent/ mysterious feel to it with its period romance approach with such a refreshinly resilient character. I was very disappointed with this voice actor and the abridged version but couldn't make myself rate it less just because I am so fond of the story.
I love this book. I have a physical copy but I don't have time to read it and just needed to hear this story. So I bought the audio so I can at least listen to it. Yes that is how amazing the story is.
