Great

Is a great place to start. Will have to go over it a few times to grasp the concepts and do the implementation work.

Solid advice

Worth listening to as it gives very good advice on setting up a business. A lot of it could be construed as being obvious for the seasoned professional but I think its probably going to offer at least one or two nuggets of wisdom for most people.

Inspiring

Would you consider the audio edition of Tycoon to be better than the print version?

Peter Jones passion for his subject and his desire to help the listener in their entrepreneurial journey comes across even more strongly in the audio book. Shame the audio book is only a very small portion of the printed version.

What about Peter Jones’s performance did you like?

All of it. Peter Jones' mix of sense of humour and tycoon success

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Motivating, inspiring. It is fantastic to hear the author speaking of his own business experiences. I've saved this audio book to listen to regularly as a motivational aid.

it's a simple succinct book with excellent points

it's short, succinct, simple to follow, Peter has made the effort to record it, the syntax rhetoric and implied values of the book if you read between the lines are to keep business simple and efficient which is what the book essentially is.
if you're not afraid of hard work and do not believe in get rich quick schemes then this is a great basic tool to start off with.
read it multiple times to learn the first few chapters back to front and you will have some fundamental tools to speak the basic business language to start you off on you journey.
it's a treasure when someone worth circa 1billion tales their time to share their knowledge

I was expecting more

What Peter has done is to pull together a list of all the best practices which make up a entrepreneur / tycoon.

I was hoping to get a bit more about what he did specifically to get from where he was to where he is now which he rarely touches. Having read and heard a lot of other business / personal development book I did not find the content of this audio book anything special and therefore would not recommend it.

Nothing new here...

Nice to hear a familiar voice but the information was all too familiar, rehashed, summarised titbits heard from any number of self help books on entrepreneurship. I’d like to have listened to more anecdotal, real life tales about hurdles Peter Jones had faced.

If you want a guide to starting a business and becoming rich, read How To Get Rich by Felix Dennis and leave this alone.
