This book is amazing. Robin Sharma really goes deep into the ways in which one can really lead their field and ultimately live a more meaningful life. I've heard other books of his, so I did find some of the things quite repetitive, but having said that this explains his Leadership morals in depth and in much more detail than any other books he has written.
If you're into personal development and are looking for motivational and inspirational reads then this is a must. This book will definitely help you in many ways, it certainly had helped me and changed my view on alot of things.
Enjoyable, thought-provoking, inspiring
This is an inspiring book that makes trys to empower you, You don't need a title or position of authority to get things done and to inspire others. It inspires you to be the best you that you can be - well worth a read, but take it in a light hearted spirit.
Personal Trainer and Life, Mind and Body Coach
I was going to give this 3 stars but the last section and the closing words from Robin upped it by one!
It's based on principles for improving life, mindset and those around you through a story of characters.
I personally prefer The Go Giver by Bob Burg but this is still worth listening to if you're looking to improve or others you're around
Great story, performance and the idea. Really inspired me as I listen to it every morning on my way to work.
Very useful and truly smart phrases there that really make sense and are not cheesy.
The way the author presents this strategy is just phenomenal!
I'm back to listening to it one more time now! with pleasure and gratitude.
I like the work of Robin Sharma but was very disappointed with 'The Leader Who Had No Title'. I only managed to listen for an hour before switching it off. I feel the author picked the message he wished to deliver and then fabricated a very flimsy, evangelistic fable around it which left me feeling patronized. Not for me!.
"Such a contrived story!! uhhh!"
Good ideas in the book but (and it's a big one) the story DOES NOT help. The way the story is presented is such a cheesy and contrived way of telling a leadership fable it just makes me cringe - I mean come on - Argentinean maid giving leadership advice about how to lead organizations???? I don't think so... I don't know but I think it's time to rewrite the book Robin...
This is my first review I ever write, because I think it is so awful it hurt me listening. An endless thread of common place thoughts, not one original idea, the story feels lifted from Dan Millman's Peaceful Warrior and everything is glued together with empty phrases. It must be hard to come up with something new in the self help genre, Seth Godin's last book I read before was also very disappointing.
"fun, informative and applicable to everything"
Super great read! Recommend to everyone. lots of great characters and morals. like a children's tale for adults, as the protagonist is on a journey to learn life lessons and teach them to others. Highly recommend!
"Acceptable and entertaining"
This publication is interesting and I will do my best to following the suggestions offered in order to enhance my leadership skills. As stated , in the publication is challenging, but definitely achievable. I am confident it will work for me and hopefully for others with whom I come in contact. Let's go!
Let me start by saying that I wish I had found this book 20 years or more ago!
This is the type of book that will bring the change in your life that you are really seeking. Authentic change, one that represents who you are and what your values are. Not only does it provide great insight, with amazing stories, but it also provides the tools that you want and need to bring your life to the next chapter or the next level.
I recommend this book to anyone at any stage in life from a young adult to someone approaching midlife or going through it or even someone in their senior years.
Everyone has so much to get a headache comes down to being inspired by the right people, or the right book, or just the right timing.
"Great information, good story."
Robin Sharma has always been great at getting his points across in story form and I think it does a great job of delivering the message as it doesn't ever seem in your face.
I will definitely go back and re listen to a few key points to make sure I jot them down on paper.
"Think you're being overlooked?"
Wonderful stories on different ways to look at where you are in life and career.
Better put way of coaching how to have positive thinking. A great listen multiple times.
A great book for anyone who thinks they deserve a promotion or raise and feels they are being overlooked. A great format to live a humble life.
"Couldn't stop listening"
Amazing book, I was hooked and finished it in only 2 days! Gave great insight!
One of the finest books I've read so far. Definitely will transform my life. Just wonderful.
Great, simple and effective principles to apply in life. The back story helps deliver the message well
