To achieve unimaginable business success and financial wealth-to reach the upper echelons of entrepreneurs, where you'll find Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, Sara Blakely of Spanx, Mark Pincus of Zynga, Kevin Plank of Under Armour, and many others-you have to change the way you think. In other words, you must develop the Entrepreneur Mind, a way of thinking that comes from learning the vital lessons of the best entrepreneurs.
In a praiseworthy effort to distill some of the most important lessons of entrepreneurship, Kevin D. Johnson, president of multimillion-dollar company Johnson Media Inc. and a serial entrepreneur for several years, shares the essential beliefs, characteristics, and habits of elite entrepreneurs. Through the conviction of his own personal experiences, which include a life-changing visit to Harvard Business School, and the compelling stories of modern-day business tycoons, Johnson transforms an oftentimes complex topic into a lucid and accessible one.
In this riveting book written for new and veteran entrepreneurs, Johnson identifies one hundred key lessons that every entrepreneur must learn in seven areas: Strategy, Education, People, Finance, Marketing and Sales, Leadership, and Motivation. Lessons include how to think big, who makes the best business partners, what captivates investors, when to abandon a business idea, where to avoid opening a business bank account, and why too much formal education can hinder your entrepreneurial growth.
Smart and insightful, The Entrepreneur Mind: 100 Essential Beliefs, Characteristics, and Habits of Elite Entrepreneurs is the ultimate primer on how to think like an entrepreneur.

I found this book very enjoyable - the entrepreneurial business content is some of the best I have listened to due to the fact that it covers all of the main areas one needs to be aware of. Kevin provides fundamental lessons learnt over the course of his entrepreneurial journey including the power of outsourcing/automation and the importance of execution over ideas to name a few.
Kevin takes the listener through his impressive journey of growing multiple businesses which is extremely inspiring.
In addition to Kevin's story being very motivational, the most memorable parts of the book are the key tips intertwined with his story which can make the fundamental difference between success and failure. Some of my favourite tips include shortening your time to market to capture market share and planning your exit strategy from the beginning in addition to useful information which is often overlooked but can have substantial outcomes such as opening a business bank account with a separate provider from your personal bank!
Get inspired and learn the actions required to become successful in business!
Overall, a truly inspiring and motivational read which has given me extremely useful information whilst being very entertaining!
I will be listening to this multiple times to make sure these characteristics are a part of my business mentality.
Thank you Kevin:-)
The narrator is awsome and really paints a picture and emotion. the book itself was amazing and I would recommend this to anyone pursuing Entrepeneurship. I listened to this on my way to work and traveling home or to clients, it really gets you going to push harder.
"Strong, educational and very entertaining!"
In a simple and friendly approach, I fell like I was having a conversation or mentoring session with the author, all lessons are interesting and motivating. This books covers from top to bottom many of the questions we find when starting our companies, and great solutions to them! Great buy!
Good information and insparation!!! Really enjoyed the dot point style. Many points I have said to friends and business parter "This is something cool from the book I am listening to"
"wow Love it."
I'm a small business owner. If you want to grow, you MUST read this book. excellent.
This book has been very inspirational to me in my 2nd year as an entrepreneur! I will definitely read it again, and refer to it often!
"Step by step"
I will say that the information content in the book is really interested. But it is hard to follow the idea once the book jump from one idea to another so fast that i just get distracted and miss the hold point. Maybe is me! Other think i really don't like is when he quote stories like important entrepreneurs and he doesn't take his time to focus in an specifics characteristic to compare with what he try to explain again too fast!
"Worth the time."
Well laid out. Practical and actionable .
Why does review require 15 words when I said what I wanted to say.
it looks like entrepreneurs have Always the same Spirit inside simple the best recommendations that I have heard in a business matter
"More so bragging than developing."
This book seemed more about bragging about the entrepreneurial mind than it was about obtaining it. I don't think it helped that the narrator had a corny voice that would be more appropriate in an advertisement or promotional video. I don't think I'll be finishing this one.
