"Applicable to more than just business"
I couldn't help but find myself applying most of what was discussed in this book to my personal life beyond just work. David Williams shares a number of personal experiences that effected how he decided to run his business and in the end, it made all the difference - a business with a unique and enriching culture, different from most of the companies that care more about revenue that its own employees.
"Good Book w/Valuable, Applicable Insight"
I would recommend this book to others, in fact, I am going to use it for our company's next book club reading.
The 7 Non-Negotiables are very powerful and can be applied personally as well as in business.
The narration could be a little dry, choppy, and redundant at times, but if you can focus in and listen to what the message is about and not get hung up on flow and cadence, you'll be glad you did.
It's a very thought provoking book and there are times I found myself making excuses of why I couldn't do that- then I realized I was just making excuses and I needed to be open to the concepts and how I could apply them in my personal and business life.
