You'll never see leadership the same way again after reading this book.
These 15 commitments are a distillation of decades of work with CEOs and other leaders. They are radical or provocative for many. They have been game changers for us and for our clients. We trust they will be for you, too.
Our experience is that unconscious leadership is not sustainable. It won't work for you, your team, or your organization in the long term. Unconscious leadership can deliver short-term results, but the costs of living and leading unconsciously are great.
Fear drives most leaders to make choices that are at odds with healthy relationships, vitality, and balance. This fear leaves a toxic residue that won't be as easily tolerated in an increasingly complex business environment.
Conscious leadership offers the antidote to fear. These pages contain a comprehensive road map to guide you to shift from fear-based to trust-based leadership. Once you learn and start practicing conscious leadership, you'll get results in the form of more energy, clarity, focus, and healthier relationships. You'll do more and more of what you are passionate about and less of what you do out of obligation. Your team will get results as well. Drama and gossip will all but disappear, and the energy and resources that fueled them will be redirected towardsinnovation and creativity.
Any one of these commitments will change your life. All of them together are revolutionary.
What do you need to bring to the table?
Sounds so simple, yet in our experience it's a skill few have mastered. Most of us are far more interested in being right and proving it than we are in learning, growing, and shifting out of our old patterns. By default we gravitate toward the familiar. We're asking you to take a chance and explore the unfamiliar.

I have recommended, even gifted this book to many already. I have a book club, in which we meet daily at 5 am to apply the commitments to our share vision in our company. It's been fantastic to have this book to clear obstacles that have been holding us back.
The Obstacle is the way, Just Listen, and Og Mandino scrolls
which commitment? or Character.. not sure I understand the question
15 hrs to a changed view!
"very helpful! I'll get the hard copy to follow up"
I'd like to get the actual book, to follow up and implement this in my life
Easy to listen to on audible- this book is going to really change how I handle life, business, personal relationships...everything!
While I place no book above the Holy Bible I've found this book to be enlightening and incredibly practical! Phenomenal guidance for anyone looking to lead life in flow, especially considering this current day and age.
"Great book for life, not just leaders."
Great book for life, not just leaders. I have recommended the book to many colleagues.
"How to be a douche in 15 easy steps"
This is horrible. They want you to drink the cool-aid and sell you on hiring their consulting business.
They have compiled everything that is bad about political correctness and made almost a cult out of it.
Stay away if you hold the integrity of your mind dear. Dont be fooled by the few good parts, this is a virus for your brain.
"Well worth it!!"
I thought this was a great easy listening with a great message. I have listened to it twice!
I absolutely loved this book! it was easy to follow and will be an adventure to implement throughout my life :-)
"Excellent Principles for Leadership"
This should be the business person's bible. The book is really well organized, the reader (one of the authors) does an excellent job, and the information is a how-to on taking the level of consciousness in business to it's highest level. It's in alignment with so much of what I've come to believe as an Emotional Intelligence coach and trainer. I'm gaining some new insights and tools for productive communication.I highly recommend it.
"Necessary information for true leaders."
This book is an excellent compilation of research by the authors in the values of true leadership. If you enjoyed the book: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Steven R. Covey, you will definitely enjoy this book as it goes into deeper detail of the characteristics required to be a true leader.
