Even though the credit crunch is still fresh in everyone's memory, the media is getting excited about house prices again - and you're convinced that property could be your key to financial freedom.
And it could. But where do you start?
Do you invest near where you live, or wherever yields are best? Do you rent to families, or professionals, or students? Should you be trawling through Rightmove or lurking at property auctions?
This short audiobook, read by the author, covers the big questions you should be asking yourself before you so much as glance at an estate agent's window. It contains a jargon-free explanation of basic investment principles, summaries of the major post-crunch investment strategies, and advice on developing a mindset that will support your long-term success.
...although you will need to endure some pretty shocking jokes along the way. Sorry about that.

I would recommend this book to anyone starting out in property. Keeping jargon to an absolute minimum, this book does a fantastic job of not only explaining the basics of property investment in general but also explores, compares and contrasts different investment strategies. A perfect intro.
Informative, interesting, absorbing
I enjoyed the structure of the audiobook. Ideal for beginners getting into property investment.
You get a fantastic feeling of emphasis on his key take-away's.
A well written and well read audio-book. Rob is clearly passionate about property investment and it shows. Well worth the 5*s
I think this is a great starter pack for anyone looking to get into the UK property market.
This honest and straightforward account of how to embark on buying a property has taught me a lot especially the number crunching and tax information. If you don't know where to start, read this book. It is also lighthearted and has a positive ring even if it all goes wrong. Thank you.
I liked this book as it runs through all the basic and more ....
I thought it deserved the 5 star rating as it's thought provoking without negativity. A good listen that I have already recommended to a friend.
I must say well-done to Rob for this. Its a great basic overview with down to earth and pragmatic advice, it is clearly written by someone who has a depth of knowledge but can filter it for a newbie.
This book gave me information I have wanted for about 2 years. I have paid £1400 for a property course that didn't give me what this book gave for around about a tenner. Listen to it or read then go back and do it again. Make notes if audible or highlight if you you have the paper book because for sure you will benefit most by making specific notes on things that jump out at you and memorising them. Good luck.
"Easy to follow down to earth understanding"
Easy to follow down to earth understanding of what to expect and where to start.
Good basic information and an easy listen. At first I was worried about it being usefull for me in the US but it was very informative.
