This is plain, simple stuff. Make more money. Spend less money. Make a budget. This is what the book says in a nutshell. No specific insights. The author states that there is always 'more on that in a later chapter' but never seems to get to more.
Would not buy again. Id be happy to return to get my credit back.

"My favorite money management book so far"
Encouraging, Realistic, Motivational.
Well, yes. I really like that part where it emphasized that money management isn't really difficult. I am guilty about not managing my money wisely and effectively. This book is an eye-opener for me. I just need to keep myself disciplined when it comes to managing money.
All I can say is, this book if very effective. It helped me create a saving strategy. It's the kind of strategy that I would stick to. Thank you Mr. Gray for sharing your experience.
"Good Budgeting Basics and Motivation"
I bought this book to jump start my budgeting plan for the new year and it provided the sound advice and motivation that I was looking for. I had known of many of the concepts already but liked this book to get me in the right mindset for living within my means. As the author points out is is far too easy to fall into the trap of mindlessly spending money in this consumer society where we have so much easy credit. His story and advice form a solid base for instead looking to the future and respecting your money.
GOOD INSIGHT FOR FUTURE PLANNING. EASY UNDERSTANDING ON CREATING A BUDGET. GREAT APP OPTIONS GIVEN.
"Great for a beginner or to refocus an experienced person"
Well done book on what concerns almost everyone. If you are lost you look at a map. If you don't feel you're on the right financial path, this book is a great start to finding your way with sound principals.
"Doesn't talk about making money"
This book is primarily about budgeting and not about money making. Although it has some good advice, it seems very unpractical in reality. There are many books way better than this one on the topic of money management
