Summary

The Life Leverage philosophy is a way of living your life to get more done in less time, outsource everything and create your ideal mobile lifestyle. It is a way of thinking, feeling, deciding, doing, and then getting the results and feedback accordingly to build momentum and get closer to your vision and legacy.

Life Leverage doesn't end with sitting on a beach drinking pina coladas, or retirement, or freedom, or balance. It allows you to live that moment-to-moment, or whatever that end goal is to you, now, and not rear-loaded, merging your passion with your profession and your vocation with your vacation.

The Life Leverage philosophy is living a fulfilled and inspired life, in balance of passion and profession, without overly sacrificing either. The Life Leverage philosophy doesn't understand work/life balance or separation; it merges every aspect into one inspired life.

The Life Leverage philosophy understands and accepts the balance of ups and downs, happiness and sadness, and moves towards its vision and legacy, constantly tweaking and accepting feedback. It disdains duplication and wastage; getting maximum leverage and maximum time preservation with minimum time erosion and wastage. It doesn't rear-load retirement, instead it lives continual mini-retirements.

Brilliant!!

A brilliant book that is full of wonderful strategies and great ideas.

I loved it!

I would recommend this book for everyone. I have listened to many self-improvement books, this I think, is one of the best. It was so good that I had to keep stopping the audio to capture on paper the ideas that were presented. I think I will buy the book in the future so that I have it for reference.

Keep up the good work Rob!

A real eye openner

Would you consider the audio edition of Life Leverage to be better than the print version?

Audible is great for me because I spend so much time travelling. It is necessary however to take notes at key parts of the book. This helps things sink into my subconscious so it's a good thing.
I will be purchasing a print copy of this book for easy reference.

What other book might you compare Life Leverage to, and why?

"Winners How They Succeed" Alister Campbell.
Its a similar blueprint to good habits and life improving techniques.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Realising that although I have my own business, I'm still a slave to it. (for now)

Any additional comments?

Anybody starting up a business of any kind would benefit greatly from the teachings of this book. I also think it will be a blueprint for me for the rest of my entrepreneurial life.
Good Luck everybody and Thank you to Rob Moore

The worst audiobook i've ever listened to

Would you try another book written by Rob Moore or narrated by Rob Moore?

No

Would you ever listen to anything by Rob Moore again?

No

Did Rob Moore do a good job differentiating each of the characters? How?

N/A

You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?

It was easy to listen to

Any additional comments?

This book is awful. A smug way of looking at things - really undetailed. Repetitive. Highly simplistic. He's made some money from property. He has no understanding of the effect of randomness (read - black swan). He thinks everything that matters can be measured. He thinks footballers should be paid what they get. He thinks it's fine for billionaires to destroy the environment with their 100litres of oil per mile yachts. He is a positive thinking idiot (read - the antidote). There are many better books.

The good reviews have got to be a joke right?

The whole book is like a rob Moore ego trip full of cringing David Brent, middle manager "come on guys, if you believe you achieve" type tosh.

Is there actually any advice on how to do the things that he's preaching? He's jean on telling you about how well he's done and how easy it's been because he pulled himself up by the boot straps after being in debt. Great story rob, but you aren't giving any real advice (a bit like certain courses that may or may not be associated with the PPN).

Bragging about living in the Cayman Islands and various other dream type wealth creation programs is not advice, if you want actual advice read/listen to Alan sugar/Branson/James caan or myriad other actual businessman.

This book DOES have some decent advice, but if it's stuff that you don't already know, then I'm afraid you probably aren't destined to be a property magnate!

Worth your time.

There are definitely trolls trashing this book. People are, however, entitled to their opinion. Here's mine.

It's life changing and profound, a paradigm shift in thinking that WILL set you on a better path. Read/listen to the VVKIK chapter, you'll find the most value there and it's the part of the book I share the most. Because of this book and a couple of others, I now spend nearly 100% of my old 'free time' in constant self education (audiobooks) and have started building assets in the way described in the book. There is no false hope here, just follow the advice and sink your teeth into it.

If you follow the author's advice and immerse yourself in personal development, you'll soon seen that the book is effectively a summary of many many other books, with the best concepts distilled and with the author's own spin and flair. Brilliantly, half of the source books were written specifically for an American audience, so this book is especially pertinent if you're British and not trying to achieve the American Dream, but a Blighty one.

This is the book I gift the most. It'll be in my top 3 forever, simply because it's the one of the three that woke me up and got me started. All that value for 1 Audible credit (£4.88)!!

Great book

For anyone feeling overwhelm, this is a brilliant book, well written and encouraging. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get out of the 8am to 7pm rat race and use their life and professional skills for better use, creating wealth, having more time and helping others.
