Wonderful in Every Way

If you've not heard of Zig Ziglar you are in for a treat, Zig is an amazing speaker & will keep you entertained, make you laugh, make you think & make you look at your own life. This man is speaking from experience & from his perspective on life. I never thought I'd be able to listen to this audio book with his Southern accent, yet, I fell in love with the accent & his words of wisdom. He can get carried away and forget where he was, yet, he'll end up to what he wanted to say. Again it's a book that is well worth the read, it'll make you think & encourage you to motivate your life.

Real down to earth guy

In Zig's down to earth style, these lectures 'rock' with common-sense ideas that are fast becoming uncommon. I only wish that Zig would remember that he is not only talking to Americans - but to people all around the world - that way he would have tried to explain concepts and slangs that only Americans would understand.
However, the Audiobook is a great source of motivational ideas.

Stand up comic & career manager rolled into one!

A collection of old Zig Zigar tapes in put together in a new format. Zig is one of the original fathers of the personal development industry. You laugh your head off at his humor whilst learning valuable life lessons.

A bit Preachy

Starts off really well, but then get a bit preachy and biblical. Loses momentum and i found myself drifting thinking of other things whilst this was playing in the background - sounds quite dated too.

Positive and uplifting

I started listening to this after hearing Seth Godin recommend it in an interview. Although it sounds a little dated today, it's nonetheless very positive, uplifting and life-affirming. Zig's delivery is funny and charming, his advice common sense. I loved listening to every minute.

good common sense with religious undertones!

What did you like best about How to Stay Motivated? What did you like least?

I likes the messages within the cd and the stories and hummer used, i found the cd a little bit preshy and felt one of the life messages was to find faith!

Would you be willing to try another book from Zig Ziglar? Why or why not?

i would not try another book, this one was a series of studio and seminar recordings which repeat, repetition seems to be key to staying motivated as with a lot of things in life. i imagen any further recordings would be of a similar nature.u could just listen to the same cd again and again!

Any additional comments?

it is very old fashioned and feels like an old recording in style, very 1990 american chat show/ american church style.
