Zig at his inspirational best... You'll laugh, you'll cry, but more importantly after listening to this you'll feel ready to do your very best in life.
Excellent! Motivational, inspirational and, yes, very practical and rooted in real everyday life. I found the true life stories used to illustrate a point very powerful. I cannot recommend this highly enough. If you have teenage children, they would definitely benefit from these talks. They teach key principles and values for happiness and success with a contagious enthusiasm and transparent integrity. I will be listening to this audiobook at least several times more, after getting Volume I and Volume II, as this is Volume III in the series. Having said that this audiobook Volume III is complete in itself, in that you don't have to listen to the first two Volumes before listening to this.
Never tried Zig?
You want a 'pick me up' well I've found Zig Zigglar a better boost than all the coffee I can drink, gives me bigger wings than Red Bull.
And like he says, "don't wait till your down to listen" keep listening and keep flying higher than the rest.
Zig may not be your cup of tea! But he really gives me a boost with his energetic enthusiasm for life. His stories are a great way of getting the message across, you really are a born winner, it's just up to you.
Keep rocking on- Digseyboy😜
Very funny in places. Ziglar is more like a stand-up comedian. Feels dated now and has very little actual useful content but the stories are interesting and funny.
"Zig Ziglar is Positive and Inspiring"
I really like Zig Ziglar’s message, I find it positive and inspiring.
This audiobook is a part of a larger series, but here is the rub, Audible does not make it clear what books make-up the entire series and what order they should be read in. So listening to just this book makes me feel incomplete, like there is something important missing, like I don’t have the entire story.
Although I feel unsatisfied with this book, I did enjoy listening to it and will probably get another book or two that will hopefully be a part of the series, maybe someday I will actually get the entire message.
"Great Information and wisdom"
I like this book because it truly says it all in the fact that you can do nothing without God in your life.
I recommend this book to anyone struggling with the troubles in life and who can't seem to break free from them.
The information in this book can get you on the right track if you open your heart and shut down your flesh.
"Not as good as some of the others"
Not really. Some good tips, but really maybe 1.5 hours was about setting goals. The remainder were stories about how Ziglar's tapes benefit people. If you've listened to some of his other recordings, the jokes will be the same and there is little fresh material here.
More talk on setting and achieving goals. There was surprisingly little on this topic considering the title of the lecture.
I enjoy listening to Ziglar. I have several of his recordings. IMHO, this one is one of the weakest in his series.
"Classic Zig Ziglar"
Zig Ziglar is one of the all-time best motivational speakers because of his dynamic personality and his deep rooted values.
This particular audiobook is a great example of Zig in action. He doesn't focus on complicated "Get it Done" strategies or systems. Instead, he simply uses common sense ideas and he illustrates them with captivating stories and his one-of-a-kind delivery.
He reminds us to that the first step in getting things done is setting specific goals and for those who have a hard time doing that, perhaps your first goal is to give him a listen. Once you do, you'll want to explore some of his other books, such as "See You at the Top".
I first listened to Zig back in 1982. He was the first one to get me started on the audio books path. This is an awesome program filled with some great motivational material. I would recommend it highly for anyone.
"You won't be disappointed!"
I really enjoyed this 2nd of 3 total Motivated audio programs. A must listen! I listen to it over and over!
doesn't matter who you are or where you are in life you need to hear this message again and again.
Mr. Ziglar is an amazing orator and encourager. This book helped me iron out some issues and put things in perspective. I wish I could have known him!
"Just Inspiring, No Goals"
I wanted a books with rules or principles on how to set goals, not it, just trying to be positive.
Gave Four Stars for content only.
"Keep listening and you'll get it!"
I can't tell you how much this has helped me. I thank god for Zig he knows what he is talking about. True wisdom.
