I wish I'd listened to this book when I started my NWM business! It would have saved so much time and angst. Not just great for developing as a leader but packed full of skills and tips to help build a massive team. It acted as a great mirror for me to reflect on my own leadership. Light bulbs popping throughout!
Toughest leadership test: problems. If you have a potential leader that still is passing up problems, you don't have a leader.
"Helpful and insightful"
A lot of the things that are mentioned are things that I deal with on a daily basis what I also like about this book is that it shows me how to save time on who the train and how to train as a future leader
A must read for all networkers. Great stuff. I really enjoyed all the stories. If you are truly wanting to be successful you need to have your team read this.
"a little disappointed"
my biggest complaint is that Big Al complains that he went to a conference early in his career in network marketing and they didn't give him specifics on how he could improve. Big Al doesn't give any specifics either in this book. Your First Year in Network Marketing by Mark Yarnell is a lot longer, but much more in depth on how to really succede, and a lot better.
This is a ust read if you are serious about Network Marketing. It will refocus your thinking and your process.
"Good info but painfully slow"
I had a hard time getting through the book. It's short and quick but very repetitive and extremely slow...however, I knew the info was valuable so I tried the audiobook. It's going to take a couple listens because I often drift off.
This book really does tell you how to work with developing leaders. It points you in the direction of becoming a real leader and partnering with others who demonstrate the qualities of a real leader. It also does a good job explaining the right attitude and perspective to have when inevitable challenges arise with prospects and downline.
Overall messages are helpful, but there are too many repetitive examples, ie: beating a dead horse.
