I've always been shy and struggled with feeling confident about myself and my abilities. This audio-book defined the difference reasons for low self confidence, and went on to explain how you can build the foundations to strong confidence.
I learned strategies to improve how I feel about myself, and how to judge myself less. Its given me a lot to think about and I feel it's really propelled me into the path to feeling happier in myself - highly recommended!
This is by far one of the best audiobooks to which I've listened. It's intelligent, capable, forward-thinking, and makes me feel the same way! Confidence is something that I've always been lacking and in my field, it's paramount. I am so glad that I stumbled across this audiobook and can't wait to put the lessons I've learned here into action!

Yes, I would recommend it as I found it to contain a wealth of interesting and useful tips for ensuring you are a confident person. It has a vast array of ideas and suggestions for incorporating key habits into your life that keep you confident.
In particular, I found the section on the importance of focusing on yourself and your positive experiences very helpful and would recommend people to listen to it if they suffer from a lack of confidence sometimes.
I enjoyed the fact that McCloud gives explanations for his suggestions on how to build confidence and doesn't just throw out ideas. He explains how each tip can be implemented and the benefit that it potentially offers you.
I thought the narrator was excellent and was engaging throughout the book.
The section which focused on introverted people was of particular interest to me and the tips that the author suggests made a lot of sense to me.
I highly recommend this book for anyone who struggles with confidence or has to deal with negative people around them. It contains some very interesting ideas and the advice is in-depth and easy to understand.
I have never been a confident person and it has definitely held me back in life. There was a number of techniques in this guide that I will try to start and apply. It helped me to see how positive thinking is vital in helping achieve self worth but how there is also a number of very practical steps I can take to improve my confidence and move on from my negative feelings.

I am really pleased with this purchase. The narrator has a great voice and the information is extremely helpful. I bought this to get some tips for my girl friend but learned a lot of new stuff myself, such as good ways to stop negative thoughts, being more thankful, some good supplements to take and even the best way to speak and use body language.
