With this book and Pinterest resources and work I'm starting to transform my business. So many best practices and info that I want to get ill be listening to again and again. Highly recommend to all! Thank you Paul
"Read it. Listen to it. Implement. REPEAT."
Giving the book 5-stars was the easy part. Implementing the ideas and developing a culture such as the one at Fastcap requires a little more work on the reader's part.
Paul Akers is a fascinating, inspiring "regular guy". Take what you will from this, but miss out on the lessons at your peril.
The delivery is excellent too, with Mr. Akers' passion coming through in spades throughout.
I can't recommend this book highly enough.
How Paul simplifies the concepts into practical application.
many parts of this story were great!
His enthusiasm for Lean thinking.
the whole thing was good
This is applicable to many aspects of business and personal life.
Paul's approach has me more focused than ever before implementing lean in my home and professional life while bettering the lives of the people around me! Can't wait for the Eliminate Sloppiness book!!
"Love Paul's energy and passion."
I enjoy Paul's simple approach to Lean. If you're a Lean novice like me, you'll enjoy the read as well. He'll point you to tons of free stuff to get you started. What resonates most for me is that making Lean simple makes it actionable and sustainable as a way of work and life. The complexity others introduce to it make Lean process too taxing and intimidating. Keep it simple and go for it!
Yes. They are all fun and enjoyable. Packed with great suggestive material.
"Lean instructed in the simplest way!"
Great book, that has inspired me to truly focus on Lean and TPS. I have many years of CI training, but have missed the boat on the true implementation. Paul has famously simplified the methodology with 2 second lean. Pay it forward and be a servant to others...
Super easy to read and/or listen to. Straight forward, to the point. Learned a lot from this book.
"disappointing, this was all about advertising"
this audio book is cheesy and sounds like marketing for author's products. the voice is too enthusiastic, so I felt on a commercial all the time. learned the pros of lean, but I was looking for something more practical. if you are seeking for real knowledge, this is not what you are looking for.
"best lean book"
Paul's enthusiasm for lean reflects my own and I enjoyed listening to this book so much. I'm looking forward to listening to it again. his website also has a lot of great resources for Lean.
"A good book to listen to on repeat."
Why is it do I need to write 20 words in an 'optional' field here?
