In September 2012, a YouGov poll conducted in Britain found that the person British workers would most like as their manager was Sir Richard Branson.
With over 40 years in business, Richard Branson is an inspiring pioneer of humanitarian projects and an iconic business leader. In The Virgin Way: How to Listen, Learn, Laugh and Lead, Richard shares and distils his secrets of leadership and success. Featuring anecdotes from his own business dealings, as well as his observations of many others who have inspired him - from politicians, business leaders, explorers, scientists, and philanthropists - Richard reflects on the qualities he feels are essential for success in today's world.
This is not a conventional audiobook on leadership. There are no rules - but rather the secrets of leadership that he has learned along the way from his days at Virgin Records, to his recent work with The Elders. Whether you're at the beginning of your career, or head of a Fortune 500 company - this is your guide to being your own CEO (Chief Enabling Officer) and becoming a true leader - not just a boss.
Recorded on location at Necker Island.

A fascinating perspective from one of our finest entrepreneurs about the management style and philosophy 'the virgin way' that he has tried to instil in all his disparate companies. Highly recommended for those who want to understand how enlightened leaders actually manage their people.
A short audiobook of less than 3 hours which says much more than some mediocre 10+ hour business books I've read recently.
Feel very inspired and energised.
Founder of a healthy food and drinks company Always looking to learn from others
His personal stories from childhood that showed that business is no different from what we do as children to what we achieve as adults
His quote from Gandhi was a nice way to set the tone "Live today like it was your last, learn as if you could live forever"
This was my first and i enjoyed it very much
It made me think, is all i could say, it also made me realise that we share the same issues and victories in business just in different scales.
It made me see i am following the Virgin way and i am happy for that
If you are starting out in business, listen to this, if you dont have time then remember one thing... always listen to others, its the key to opening your chosen door
Compared to felix Dennis how to get rich which was brilliant, I felt Richard was not opening up. It seemed to be more about virgins products and I know know that virgin makes mates condoms and Virgin money is a rebranded northern rock but not much else.
Another great book by Ricky! There are a lot of similar things that you will find in like a virgin or losing my virginity. You will probably find this book and losing my virginity the most useful. Thanks, F.
I highly recommend this for any one who wants to start living a dream life. We will always have to benefit others in our business life so we might as well make it a thing we love to do.
"It's Richard Branson !"
Interesting and and entertaining. It has the signature Richard Branson style, lots of stories, and some helpful advices for entrepreneurs.
It is rather short. The longest chapter is less than 6 minutes. Yes, it is very concise, but personally, I would like the book to further elaborate on some ideas. Anyways, a good book, and I specially like to hear it from Branson himself.
Teaches about business, listening and leading. i recommend this book for all business leaders and budding entrepreneurs.
