Summary
Thirteen years ago, Moab Is My Washpot, Stephen Fry’s autobiography of his early years, was published to rave reviews and was a huge best seller. In the years since, Stephen Fry has moved into a completely new stratosphere, both as a public figure, and a private man. Now he is not just a multi-award-winning comedian and actor, but also an author, director, and presenter.
In January 2010 he was awarded the Special Recognition Award at the National Television Awards. Much loved by the public and his peers, Stephen Fry is one of the most influential cultural forces in the country. This dazzling memoir promises to be a courageously frank, honest and poignant read. It will detail some of the most turbulent and least-well-known years of his life, with writing that will excite you, make you laugh uproariously, move you, inform you, and, above all, surprise you.

It brings a wry smile or should I say 'fry smile'
Hugely enjoyable and enlighteming, made so much better by Mr Fry narrating it himself. Easy to dip in and out of. It makes me want to have a cup of tea and chat with the darling fellow.

Great tales and an amazing voice
Stephen Fry has lived a fascinating life (and continues to do so, no doubt); he recounts stories, interactions, the crossings of paths, the ways of working in TV, theatre and other media with a real eloquence and ease of listening. The narrative is revealing and enlightening and really brought to life by Fry's excellent voice and ability to speak in a variety of accents and mimic his friends and other characters. This really is the beauty of the audio book. Definitely recommend.

Interesting and surprising
I found what Stephen Fry had to say extremely interesting and very often surprising. I would definitely recommend having a listen to this. It is extremely witty as you would expect and sometimes a touch sad.
Have a listen!

Mesmerising
Whilst the story of Stephen Fry's life is enjoyable, what makes this book so mesmerising is his total command of the English language. It is a joy to listen to. Stephen Fry is a true wordsmith who combines intelligent observational humour with a deep knowledge and broad understanding of the english language.

So many words
This book really makes me wish that I knew as many words as Stephen Fry does. I love his use of language and the depth of his, often hilarious, stories of his life. Perfectly narrated by himself.
A real window into his mind of self doubt that I had no idea about. A book straight from the heart and full of well known characters from his life.
I'm really keen to get some more of his books after listening to this one.

Funny and Entertaining
Impeccably narrated by the author. Honest and funny. Fry's use of language is floral and beguiling. I'd recommend to anyone.

Best book I have listened to by far, I found my self not wanting to reach the end of my journey when listening to it in the car.
