Spiderman saved lives. Peter Parker sold photographs to his local paper.
Chris Moyles entertains eight million people each week on BBC Radio 1. Then he goes home and plays with an Xbox on his sofa, wearing only his underpants.
Welcome to the real world of Chris Moyles.
This audiobook tries to get to the bottom of the double life of this award-winning broadcaster and hapless human being. You'll find out just what he thinks of his radio show guests - some of the most famous people in the country. You'll hear about his showbiz nights out and celebrity neighbourhood. You'll also learn why he is obsessive about washing up; why he lies to the pizza delivery man; and generally what it's like being a part-time famous person and a part-time nobody.
Love him or not, Chris Moyles is part of the fabric of our nation and a proven best-selling author. A refreshingly honest, caustically dry and quick-witted commentator on daily life, The Difficult Second Book is a highly entertaining listen from start to finish.

Fan of biographies, starting to get to the obscure ones now.
I wont waste time with this, please listen to the other reviewers ( i should have). This is a nonsense mash up of the most inane random tales and thoughts which seem to have been noted down in first draft form. Very badly written and read, I thought this guy was ok on The radio but this has killed all credibility for me.
True to form, when I listened to Chris on Radio 1, I'd sometims be laughing do much I'd be in tears. The same has been the case whilst listening to his book.
It's definitely a maybe!?
His first book - it sounds like him in the literal sense - easy listening
As someone who has been as Chris says "a Diehard Fan" since his afternoon shows I am sad to give this one star. Sorry Chris but you just come over as forced or whingeing in almost every anecdote or story. I know you have tons of good material and can deliver it flawlessly day in and day out, but unfortunately not in this case.
Think of the chris moyles show, but think of the best bits... and then make it last 5 hours or so..
hours and hours and hours of fun witty banter, listening to the life of chris is hilarious.
Recommend this for all chris moyles fans.
I thought this was very enjoyable. It's light, amusing and very funny in places. It's not War and Peace, but you knew that anyway - just get it!
