Great Biography
This is a very well written biography. If you are interested in knowing how Computers of today came into existence and where Apple, Microsoft & Pixar began, their view and how they groomed over the years.. This is Steve's real life account on it.
However, I find the book way too long. It's in 3 parts each over 7-9 hrs.

Fantastic...
Absolutely superb and accurate account of an amazing and inspiring man...awkward and difficult, but a man who knew what he wanted and how to get it, changed the face of computers and devices (one of which I am using now to write this review), well worth the money and a definite must for any Apple/Steve Jobs fan

inspirational
I've never been an apple fan, I own an ipod and that is it. however this book has made me appreciate them and Steve Jobs much much more. The biography comes across as balanced and there is plenty I dislike about him, but I also found him very inspirational. I'm gutted the book has finished!

Awe inspiring!
No holds barred, great story about the guy that gave us great tech, who took all the fuss away & simplified our gadgets so we could get on with our lives and make his toys part of those lives we all love to lead and share.
Thank you Steve Jobs, r.i.p.

An unlikeable likeable man
At times it becomes more a biography about Apple than Steve Jobs, but I concede that their paths were often inextricably linked. A great listen and insight into the driven, charismatic Jobs, whose passion and obsessiveness with detail could manifest itself in some very discreditable behaviour that might upset those Apple faithfuls who have put him on a pedestal and idolise him. Dylan Baker does a good job narrating, setting to one side some jarring American pronunciations. At times, it can be dry when the tech takes the fore over Jobs, but in the main, I would recommend this book to anyone who has been intrigued about Jobs the man, rather than the persona he projected as Apple CEO.

Walter, I am now a fan
This is the first Walter Isaacson book I have listened to, and I have to say that his style of writing and delivery is awesome. Love this audiobook. Impressive 'story' and there is a lot I didn't know about Mr Jobs. Brilliant!

A great read / listen. Captivating from start to finish. The readers voice is almost as mesmerising as the story itself.
