The girl who makes you giggle on Gogglebox.
'I don't go on red carpets. If a photographer ever shouted out, "Who are you wearing?" I'd be like, 'Me mam's top, me mate Sarah's jeans and some shoes from the TopShop sale.'"
Meet Scarlett. You might recognise her as one of the funniest women on television from her appearances on the hit Channel Four show Gogglebox.
Now, in Scarlett Says, Scarlett Moffat turns her attention to life, the universe and everything in an audiobook that will be utterly unlike any other celebrity autobiography you hear.
Find out why thigh gaps can get stuffed, why Tinder photos won't make good stories for the grandkids, why tooth fairies are creepy little bastards and much, much more, all in the hilarious, down-to-earth voice that we've come to know and love. You'll never look at things in the same way again.

Scarlett Says is a funny book at times, being around the same age as her I can relate to a lot of what she says.
There are so many mixed messages. Scarlett says that women should 'be themselves' and not care what others think but then shares her own thoughts on needing to spend hours getting ready. Some of her views you will disagree with and the way the book is written isn't very professional compared to other titles I have enjoyed on Audible. The book lacks polish in my opinion, it reads as you are listening to someone read out their Facebook page.
Scarlett's vocal performance is nice to listen to, especially expressions used to act out scenes.
I wouldn't recommend this book. Her opinion is shared as fact and I disagreed with a lot of them.
I love watching Scarlett on gogglebox which is why I bought the audio book over the written one. I enjoyed it but I must say she sounded awfully flat when reading it out. I would've liked it read out with even just a little bit of the character she has and I think I would've laughed a lot more rather than being just mildly amused by what she said.
Jersey, Channel Islands. Addicted to books. Wilde/Coward especially. Adore comedy, memoirs, biographies, history, witches /wizards & silly.
I'd recommend this book without hesitation. It's really very good.
I can see it will appeal to many age groups and different backgrounds.
Don't really want to ruin the book for others by spoilers.
Scarlett obviously, but her family and friends sound like decent people too.
Scarlett reading the book made it perfect. It's sweet, funny, honest, and full of quite surprising facts. I find Scarlett utterly charming, very sensible and really grounded.
She also reads very well, really clear pronounciation.
Who is 'Shiny Tights'? Scarlett knows...
Definitely worth a read, I wouldn't have bothered reviewing it otherwise.
