Summary

The girl who makes you giggle on Gogglebox.

'I don't go on red carpets. If a photographer ever shouted out, "Who are you wearing?" I'd be like, 'Me mam's top, me mate Sarah's jeans and some shoes from the TopShop sale.'"

Meet Scarlett. You might recognise her as one of the funniest women on television from her appearances on the hit Channel Four show Gogglebox.

Now, in Scarlett Says, Scarlett Moffat turns her attention to life, the universe and everything in an audiobook that will be utterly unlike any other celebrity autobiography you hear.

Find out why thigh gaps can get stuffed, why Tinder photos won't make good stories for the grandkids, why tooth fairies are creepy little bastards and much, much more, all in the hilarious, down-to-earth voice that we've come to know and love. You'll never look at things in the same way again.

A good listen

A lighthearted look at the life of Scarlett, amusing and nice to hear from a sensible young person.

Full of lies

Why release a book saying that you hate progress photos? Diets and all that... Then go on one yourself. Have a word.

Hilarious and so true to life

What made the experience of listening to Scarlett Says the most enjoyable?

Scarlett's way with words is unique, she is so funny. All she says is true for the way her age group act. She is also very wise in some things. If she doesn't like something or someone she is not afraid to say so and why. I would love more books like this.

What other book might you compare Scarlett Says to, and why?

I haven't read any yet that match this.

What does Scarlett Moffatt bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

I don't think this book would have worked as well if someone else had read it. As Scarlett is one of a kind. It was her story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I would have loved to have been able to read it in one sitting unfortunately I wasn't able to.

Any additional comments?

I read when I am walking. I am sure people thought I was quite mad, as I was going round with a stupid grin stuck on my face and even laughed out loud on a few occasions. If you want a good laugh this is the book. More please Scarlett.

Really enjoyed and easy listening

I like Scarlett anyway from gogglebox and I'm a celeb but the book made me like her even more. It was well read, and made me laugh quite a few times, but what I enjoyed most was how down to earth she comes across. Some of her comments are a little contradicting now that she has a DVD out and so on but it doesn't take anything away from the book. It's worth a buy if you want some easy listening and especially if you are from the north.

Hilarious

Funny to listen to, would've enjoyed it less to read myself. Very easy listening, would recommend. Can be a bit repetitive and like you're reading Facebook posts, but that's our generation now!
