A cocky, green pilot flies an old Cessna 150 across the United States in 1994. The "Kid" and his gonzo passenger Doc take to the skies in an unforgettable misadventure. From Scottsdale Airport, the "Canary" takes off and attempts to cross the "hump" on its passage eastward.

"Fun easy book"
Fun and quick, nothing groundbreaking. Sorta like Norman Rockwell of the 1990s. Good traveling story.
"Weekend Red barron."
excellent choice. Well narrated story for anyone dreaming of buying a plane highly recommended flows well.
"His give-a-damn is malfunctioning."
This is a great true story about flying by the seat of your pants. Go KID.
Merchant of Death is similar. Sometimes you just have to jump in with both feet and go for broke.
Doc smoking a joint on the tarmac.
It would have busted my give a damn if it were still functioning.
