    "A Royle Treat"
Would you listen to My Sporting Life with Joe Royle again? Why?

Yes. It was compelling with an enthusiastic and keen host and a tremendous raconteur as a guest

What did you like best about this story?

Joe tells his fascinating and full story with clever insight and a lot of natural humour.

Have you listened to any of Danny Kelly and Joe Royle ’s other performances? How does this one compare?

I think this one is the best so far ahead of the ones with Mickey Thomas and Tony Cottee, but they are all good

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and I did. It was the right length for the car journey I was undertaking, which is perhaps another reason I preferred it to the others as they were more staccato
