Like every girl, Sarah Jakes dreamed of a life full of love, laughter, and happy endings. But her dreams changed dramatically when she became pregnant at age 13, a reality only compounded by the fact that her father, Bishop T.D. Jakes, was one of the most influential megachurch pastors in the nation. As a teen mom and a high-profile preacher's kid, her road was lonely. She was shunned at school, gossiped about at church. And a few years later, when a fairy-tale marriage ended in a spiral of hurt and rejection, she could have let her pain dictate her future. Instead, she found herself surrounded by a God she'd given up on, crashing headlong with Him into a destiny she'd never dreamed of.
Sarah's captivating story, unflinchingly honest and deeply vulnerable, is a vivid reminder that God can turn even the deepest pain into His perfection. More than a memoir, Lost and Found offers hope and encouragement. Perhaps you, like Sarah, find yourself wandering the detours of life. Regardless of how lost you feel, you, too, can be found.

Truth be told most of us can relate to either sections of or the entire book on Sarah's lost and found true story. I commend her for sharing her journey with us, and give God all the glory for guiding her through it all.
As Sarah tell her story I could identify with most of it. Her openness is what we need in today's time. GOD IS AWESOME
All of it
This book was well written. In so many ways it reminded me of my own struggle and it helped me to see the direction I should be going in. it's my go to book when I feel that I'm slipping backwards. when that happens I immediately start the book over from chapter one. I've listened to this book at least 5 times.
From time to time i have to remind myself that GOD has a plan for me and my life and as long as I stay focused on him all will be well.
No matter what your own story may be you'll be able to relate and learn.
I enjoyed the content and appreciate the author for narrating. I don't think any other author would have done the audiobook justice. Hearing it from the author made the content more powerful. She lived through it and brought the true emotion. I would recommend this to everyone.
Sarah Jakes story is inspiring and beautifully shared in this book. I honestly didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did. I wish more women could find the strength to use their trials the way Sarah has...to become stronger and build a brighter and better tomorrow.
"Very Inspirational Story"
This is a must-read for anyone who has ever struggled with the feelings of guilt and inadequacy. Ms. Jakes paints a beautiful picture of God's grace and the humanity in redemption. Please don't miss an opportunity to read this honest, riveting memoir.
"I appreciate her truth"
Sarah Jakes story is the story of most young & impressionable girls. I loved this love book/audio. It has inspired me to take my power back & stand on it without regret.
Sarah Jakes provides insight into the life of many young people striving to understand who God is and the role that he plays in our lives. She is very transparent, I would recommend this book to any person that thinks that a crystal clear life is the requirement to live a life according to Gods will. She shows how looking back, one is able to connect the dots of all of those times that people were and became found. Thank you Mrs. Sarah Jakes-Roberts!
This book is life changing. It gives insight into living a life of courage after many failures and mistakes. It's never to late to allow God to use your story to help others rebuild.
"Holes in the story"
The first child's father was given a pass. What's his story?
Keep up the good work. You Rock Sarah! Peace
