What made the experience of listening to KP: The Autobiography the most enjoyable?

Obviously a very frank and at times revealing and painful account of a fine international player.

What was one of the most memorable moments of KP: The Autobiography?

The humiliating way KP was subjected to apologising to each player individually and the delay/preparation for one particular player.

What does Byron Mondahl bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Excellent narration but it would have been far better read by KP.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Admiration for KP who can admit to the mistakes/misjudgements he may have made as a professional but utter disbelief at his treatment by many in English cricket. Shameful.

Genius or Victim - Probably a bit of both

Where does KP: The Autobiography rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's not my best ever audio book but I really enjoyed listening to KJ's side of the story. I thought I new the KP stroy from the press and media but this book certainly put me straight.

What was one of the most memorable moments of KP: The Autobiography?

KP's honesty about the people who run the ECB and the honest, sometimes brutal, truth about what he thought of them... personally and professionally

Sure it made me laugh, not the real, laughing out loud type... more a chuckle (and at time anger) as KP describe the "behind the scenes" antics of some of his fellow players and what he thought about them. I'd like to read the same story from some of the other players involved!

Any additional comments?

If you like cricket, and want to little insight into some of the goings on around the England team and the ECB, you will really enjoy this.... there is some self pitty (by KP), but it's good listening!

Interesting

As a South African living in the UK I was never much of fan of KP during his playing years. But I thoroughly enjoyed this and getting a new and very different insight to the man the player and yes the ego.
Would highly recommend this if you’re a cricketer or a fan of the fantastic game

Absorbing...all England Cricket Fans should read

Where does KP: The Autobiography rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Englands disastrous defence of the Ashes last time in Australia was a complete shock Granted Australia are a great side but no one expected a 5-0 whitewash. In this book KP who was the leading run scorer gives his account of what happened. Yes I'm sure there are two sides to the tail, but this is an absorbing account from one of England's top batsman and with the current series on-going (1-1 at time of review), its a great accompanant to the Ashes series.

Intriguing

A fascinating account of his career in England, and a lot of justifications, but still a thoroughly enjoyable listen. Like him or loathe him, there are more sides to the story than the narrative we receive through the media, and their collective portrayal of him / his actions. This was his chance to get his side of the story across, with a lot of very well made points. Happy to recommend.

Blimey what a whinge

Good accurate accent - that even as a South African grates after a while - but KP really has some serious confidence issues. Exhausting!

initially I felt sympathy for his position. I am sure that as a naturally introverted man surrounded by a dressing room full of cheeses and egos all colliding at speed his life with England was a painful one. But after chapter after chapter of self-pitying whining I really started to lose the plot.

I will focus on his amazing batting not his personality....
