Nobel prize-winner F. A. Hayek was one of the great thinkers of the 20th century, but up to now there has been no book for the non-specialist that describes his ideas and explains their significance. Very good
I bought this because I wanted to know more about Hayek and it did exactly what it said on the tin. Moreover anyone with an interest in economics should learn about Hayek and his differences with Kaynes

So good, I bought the book itself.
I've never had this happen, but as soon as it finished, I bought the book for my own personal shelf at home. I've been interested in Hayek for many years, but this overview of his book, which is contextualised really well for a modern audience is great. The book was written in 83, and was WAY too ahead of its time. it's the perfect book for 2023. Society needs it now more than ever!

Excellent introduction to one of the greatest mind
Hayek has been immensely influential so to be familiar with his ideas and work is essential to anyone who wishes to take part in the public debate or just understand what is going on in the world.
I would prefer it to have been read by a British reader, as the author is British. Also, he read too fast, but thankfully that could be remedied by turning down the speed a notch.
Apart from that: really easy to follow even complex arguments, so a warmly recommended book.

Nothing but a fan review's propaganda
This is a dreadful precis of Hayek and his work. It is pure propaganda, taking the side of Hayek without thought or critique. It does not analyze, nor does it question or counterpoint. It adds nothing to the wider debate about economics, or Hayek's value as an economist or philosopher. This book's central premise is everything Hayek says is correct and everything else is wrong.
The narration is also dreadful. It is simply far too fast for comfort. While the book tries to explain some concepts that are tricky to absorb and contemplate at times, the performance is so rapid that the listener has no time to digest, before moving on to further points. I suspect this is largely because the were this to be presented in any coherent way it would be even easier to debunk the underlying arguments.
In short, if you have a genuine interest in the subject at hand, save your credits and spend them on something worthwhile.
