Summary
Selvom Erik Emunes navn betyder "den mindeværdige", er han alligevel gået godt og grundigt i glemmebogen. Det er synd, for Eriks korte regeringstid var ganske dramatisk. I Roskildekrøniken betegnes han som en "rex tyrannus", og han halshuggede da også politiske modstandere og brændte Oslo ned til grunden. En jysk stormand med det mystiske navn Sorte Plov så sig dog gal på Erik, og det blev skæbnesvangert.
