    "Edited versions"
What would have made The Great Poets: John Milton better?

Complete versions of the shorter poems

If you’ve listened to books by John Milton before, how does this one compare?

Not a patch on Paradise Lost read by Anton Lesser

What three words best describe Samantha Bond and Derek Jacobi ’s performance?

    clear, cloying, inappropriate,

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Great Poets: John Milton?

The extracts from the longer poems which are available complete in other Naxos audiobooks

    Any additional comments?

A full list of contents was not available prior to purchase. Some of the shorter poems such as the Christmas Ode have been abridged. The short extracts from the longer works are pointless. I was expecting the full versions of the Christmas Ode and Comus at least.
