"Listeners will enjoy and benefit from God Has a Dream." (His Holiness the Dalai Lama)
"Desmond Tutu shows each of us how to transform our pain and sorrow into hope and confidence in the future." (Nelson Mandela)
"A spiritual message that if heeded can change lives as well as history." (Jimmy Carter)
The sensitivity with which Desmond Tutu reads his story, his gentle humour and the grace with which he describes some intensely difficult times in his own life and in the history of South Africa makes this an excellent book to listen to.
I loved the honesty in Bishop Tutu's writing. Whether he writes about an horrific injustice or about a funny episode, his sincerity makes it completely convincing.
I listened to this book in one sitting (well, one bread baking session) - and then again! It is one of those books that one can never tire of.
"Wisdom with Humor"
This is a book that is so far above. Because Tutu was the narrator, one can hear the compassion from his voice and his words. A Must read - again and again.
"Hope is still alive."
beautiful book, filled with hope for a better world in spite of our current delema
"powerful and transforming"
This is one of the most powerful books I have had the privilege to read in many years
I have heard this book 17 times and each time I pick up something new.
The humour and passion Desmond Tutu delivers throughout this reading keeps the listener wanting to hear more.
If a believer or not there is much to get out of this book time and time again, and put into practice in your everyday life.
"The heart of Tutu"
A look into the spiritual heart of a wold leader. Tutu's full faith I the power of God's love comes through loud in clear in the work that is full of compassion for all including his tormentors.
