Publisher's Summary

Dylan Thomas wrote A Child's Christmas in Wales in 1955, in which he recreated the atmosphere of Christmas Past as he remembered it. Each one of us will have similar memories of the glitter and the emotions of this time of innocence, plenty, fun, anticipation and excitement.

A very abridged version of the original. I have heard much better renditions of the WHOLE story.

Would you try another book from Dylan Thomas and/or Philip Madoc?

Yes. The unabridged version. And I would also like to try, Under Milkwood.

If you’ve listened to books by Dylan Thomas before, how does this one compare?

    First time listener.

Have you listened to any of Philip Madoc’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No.

Could you see A Child's Christmas in Wales (from the Naxos Audiobook 'A Family Christmas') being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

It already has been made into a movie, very good.

    Any additional comments?

The longer version is much better. But this one is excellent for the price.
