Summary

Nine hundred and seventy-three days. Thinking. Planning. Waiting for the perfect moment. Former Marine James Bishop will only have one opportunity to make his prison break. And one chance to prove that he isn't responsible for the murders that put him inside.

Three years ago Bishop was the leader of an elite close protection team hired to protect a millionaire and his daughter. After being attacked, Bishop regained consciousness to find seven bodies strewn throughout the millionaire's Long Island mansion - including those of his two charges - and a mountain of evidence guaranteed to send him down for murder. But to find out who set him up and why, Bishop needs to be free. And now the time has come to make his move.

The fugitive on steroids

A story of: "man sent to prison for a crime he didn't commit and puts it right", isn't a new concept but the story keeps you gripped from chapter 1 to chapter 101.
Well read by "the voice of Jack Reacher."

Brilliant listen

I don't know what drew me to this book, but I am so glad I found it. Plausibility may be stretched a little occasionally, but find me a thriller where it isn't. The characters are strong and brought to life by excellent narration. The story maintained a good pace throughout, leaving me unable to switch it off towards the end.
I am very impressed with this debut novel and will definitely be keeping my eye out for his future publications.

Gave up at Chapter 44

Sorry to have wasted a credit on this hopeless Jack Reacher knock off. Weak pathetic story, full of simple characters. only saving grace is Jeff Hardings reading, he must have been so embarrassed, but still gave up at Chapter 44.
