Best-selling author Martina Cole's explosive first novel of corruption and violence. No one thinks a seventeen-year-old girl can take on the hard men of London's gangland, but it's a mistake to underestimate Maura Ryan: she's tough, clever and beautiful - which makes her one very dangerous lady. Together, she and her brother Michael are unbeatable but notoriety has its price. The police are determined to put Maura away once and for all - and not everyone in the family thinks that's such a bad idea.
When it comes to the crunch, Maura has to face the pain of lost love in her past - and the dangerous lady discovers her heart is not made entirely of stone.

Yes - the story is great and the narrator is spot on.
Michael. Because he's a strong male lead, which I enjoy the most.
She narrates it brilliantly, but I can't say that she brought anything more than my own imagination would have created.
There are always certain sayings, retorts and opinions that Martina Cole adds in her stories that make me chuckle.
I don't want to say as it would possibly spoil the book for others, suffice to say there are several!
This lady is a superb performer, I have listened to several of her readings and they are consistantly good but at the same time her charactors do vary from book to book and are all individuals in their own right. As always she adds significantly to the listening experience.
Neither, I just enjoyed all aspects of it.
I have listened to several of Martinas books and they are all well written and compulsive listening from start to finish.
Again I would say these books are not for those easily offended by bad language.
I will be purchasing more of her books and have gone straight on to the sequel for this one.
Appalling ! Only got half the book before a message saying 'corrupt down load' never use Audibke again . Having spend a lot of money on their products hugely disappointed . Would highly recommend not to buy 'dangerous lady, by martins Coke '
I have read this book but thought I would give audio a go it was brilliant bring al the family come to life.
I've read a lot of Martina Cole's books and this one was another hit. The narration adds to the story, Annie Aldington does an excellent job of capturing the essence of the characters. I would recommend this book
"Could not put it down."
Loved it, could not put it down ones started, time changes was a bit disorentainted to listen to and I wished I had the actual paper book to be able to go back to confirm charecters, specialy in the beginning.
