Summary

Fearless counterterrorism operative Mitch Rapp finds himself directly in the line of fire in the latest riveting political thriller from New York Times best-selling author Vince Flynn.

For years, Mitch Rapp's bold actions have saved the lives of countless Americans. His battles for peace and freedom have made him a hero to many, and an enemy to countless more. In the tangled, duplicitous world of espionage, there are those, even among America's allies, who want to see Mitch Rapp eliminated. They have decided the time has come.

Now, the powerful father of a dead terrorist demands vengeance in its simplest form, an eye for an eye, and Rapp instantly becomes the target of an international conspiracy. This time, he must use all of his vigilance and determination to save himself before he can turn his fury on those who have dared to betray him.

Consent to Kill takes listeners behind the headlines and catapults them to the front lines of the global war on terror. It sizzles "with inside information, military muscle, and CIA secrets" (Dan Brown). Vince Flynn mixes military technology with his exclusive knowledge of Washington politics to create a hero that Americans will wish existed outside the realm of fiction.

Another book in the Mitch Rapp series and again another riveting story of intrigue, daring and a rollercoaster of emotions ending in a glimpse of the humane side of Rapp.

An emotional roller-coaster. Brilliant

Possibly one of the best books in the 18 I have listened to. With all the normal good guy bad guy action, it rides and emotional roller-coaster. Brilliant no question. A must for any Rapp fan.

Just one small point

Great story and performance. A shame there are 2 or 3 minor technical glitches on the recording. Otherwise very enjoyable.

Perfect

Firstly i am registered blind and especially critical of narration but this was perfect. I have criticised George Guidall before but this time he has captured the narration perfectly, George absolutely perfect, i know what books to download that you have narrated now! now the book. well i have to admit that i love this genre, Andy Mcnab, Chris Ryan, Gerald Seymour and especially Daniel Silva. this book is a combination of all, the technicalities of Andy Mcnab, the unrealistic adventure of Chris Ryan and the sheer ruthlessness of Daniel Silva. I love this genre, pity this book does not have the previous books as unabridged but hay-ho i will be downloading the next unabridged book after i have completed the Gerald /Seymour book. I don't want to give anything away but i love the ruthlessness of this book, the chronology and the ending although a bit 'lovey'! the only negative is the emphasis on the main character and the involvement of the 'bit' players on his side, need to know more. All i can say is DOWNLOAD NOW.
